Hope yet

I was very glad to see that ANGEL has a repository. I think we can use this like a wiki to share ideas among Algebra teachers. We can start with just the Courtland Math Teachers and let it grow from there. Getting teachers to share ideas and resources will be new to some teachers and old hat to others. I think Pam Bailey and I will have to start it and then see who will join us.

Just getting the folks to share resources will be a great step...I also hope Angel can let the county teachers do some great stuff with the kids

It's funny how some folks just don't like to share. As we work more and more in Web 2.0, I come to undestand that those who don't like to share or collaborate will be left behind.

This new paradigm is one of power/knowledge sharing, rather than knowledge being power.

I don't know Pam Bailey, but I'm glad to see that she will be collaborating with you as you integrate technology into the algebra curriculum. I know your SOL scores will soar exponentially - I do hope that is an algebra term!

Good luck with this. I think it is a great idea to set up a place where teachers are able to collaborate. I think you will find that teachers will want to share because there is no pressure. Since it is not face to face the fear of sharing is taken out. What a great start!
